Christine is a transplant to NC from Queens, NY. She received her M.S. in Occupational Therapy from NYU in 2008. Following graduation Christine began honing her skills taking jobs working in a special education preschool, clinic, and school based settings. She is skilled at addressing delays in several areas including fine motor, visual motor, and sensory processing. Christine is experienced with treating developmental delays, cerebral palsy, down syndrome, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and sensory processing disorders, and handwriting difficulties. She has further training to use techniques like the Willbarger brushing protocol, weighted/pressure vests and the Hand Writing Without Tears program to enhance her treatment session. She strives to make her sessions fun and functional through creative activities and parent involvement.
