Camilla, OT/L
Owner, Occupational Therapist
Camilla has over 20 years experience in working with pediatrics across the country and is a licensed occupational therapist in North Carolina. She received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and then went on to receive a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education. At that point, she was certified to work with children from birth to eight years old and taught preschool children with special needs in the public school systems. Due to her love of working with children, she then pursued a Masters degree in Occupational Therapy and began working as a pediatric occupational therapist in school and hospital settings in California and Virginia.
As a mother, Camilla understands the perspective of parents and the importance of the parents being able to make the best decisions for their children. In her own practice, Camilla makes it a number one priority to make sure that the therapists understand the dynamics and sensitivities of each family. She understands that it’s a lot for a parent to invite someone into their home or their child’s daycare to work with their little one.
