Obi’s purpose in occupational therapy is to guide children in feeling empowered to achieve their fullest potential! Since graduating with her OTD in 2021, her passion to promote health and well being is highlighted by her dedication to working with children to develop self-awareness and achieve independence needed to participate in their most meaningful activities. She has worked with the pediatric population and completed fieldwork in various settings. Obi uses a holistic, client-centered approach to therapy, tailoring interventions to meet your families needs.
Committed to ongoing professional development, Obi regularly stays up to date with the latest research in the field. Her practice includes creative evidence-based approaches to improve outcomes and implement enjoyable therapy sessions. Her areas of focus include sensory regulation, sensory feeding, motor skill development and developing play skills. Additional clinical training includes Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), Sensory Integration (SI), and feeding courses. She brings a compassionate and empathetic approach to every aspect of her work, fostering a supportive environment for children and families to learn and grow!
