Kasey, OTR/L
Occupational Therapist
Kasey is a pediatric occupational therapist with experience supporting children across school-based, outpatient, and community-based settings. She has worked with children with a variety of developmental, sensory, fine motor, visual-motor, and daily living needs. She has experience completing standardized assessments, developing individualized goals, monitoring progress, and collaborating with families, teachers, and interdisciplinary teams.
Kasey is passionate about helping children build confidence and independence through engaging, play-based therapy. She values strong relationships with children and families and brings a calm, collaborative, family-centered approach to therapy.
Kasey earned her occupational therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and began her career working with children in pediatric outpatient and school-based settings. Throughout her career, she has supported children with a wide range of developmental needs, with particular interests in sensory regulation, fine motor development, coordination skills, and participation in everyday activites.
After taking time away from clinical practice to focus on raising her three children, Kasey is excited to return to occupational therapy. Her experiences as both an occupational therapist and a parent have deepened her appreciation and understanding of meeting each child where they are and the importance of partnering with families to help their children thrive.
Outside of work, Kasey enjoys spending time with her husband, three children, and two cats, exploring new places, enjoying the outdoors, and finding fun activities to do together as a family.
