Jennifer B., MS, OT/L
Occupational Therapist
Jennifer is a licensed occupational therapist with over 20 years of clinical experience. She is passionate about providing family-centered, play-based occupational therapy in children’s natural environments, partnering with caregivers to help children develop the skills they need to succeed at home, at school, and within their community. Jennifer is committed to delivering individualized, evidence-based care that empowers children to reach their fullest potential.
While in college as an elementary education major, Jennifer discovered occupational therapy as a profession where she could help children develop the skills needed to participate more fully in the everyday activities that are most meaningful to them. This individualized, whole-person approach inspired her to change majors and pursue occupational therapy. More than 20 years later, she remains passionate about helping children achieve greater independence and participation in everyday life.
Originally from Maryland, Jennifer recently relocated to Cary, NC, from Florida. Throughout her career, she has worked in a variety of clinical settings that have strengthened her skills in comprehensive evaluation, clinical reasoning, occupation-based intervention, caregiver education, and individualized treatment planning. These experiences have equipped her to recognize each child’s unique strengths and challenges, develop creative, functional intervention strategies, and collaborate with families to support meaningful participation in everyday life.>
As both an OT and the mother of three school-aged children, Jennifer understands that every child is unique and learns best when therapy builds on their individual strengths, interests, and motivations. She believes the greatest progress occurs when therapy is naturally embedded in a child’s daily life, and caregivers are empowered with practical strategies they can confidently use beyond each session. Jennifer enjoys partnering with families to create engaging, play-based interventions that foster confidence, independence, and joyful participation in everyday life.
Jennifer and her family are thrilled to call North Carolina home. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children and will often find her cheering them on in sports and activities or volunteering at school and church. As an OT with All About Therapy, Jennifer looks forward to partnering with children and families to help them thrive where they are!
