Occupational Therapist
Rachel is a pediatric OT with a strong foundation in education and child development. She enjoys working in an outpatient clinic, delivering client-centered care to kids of all ages. Some of her treatment interventions at the clinic target emotional regulation, social interactions, fine and gross motor skills, hand strength, handwriting, sensory regulation, functional independence, and executive functioning. In addition, she worked as a teacher assistant, creating and implementing engaging lesson plans while supporting diverse learning needs. She also spent a year in a preschool setting, further developing her skills in early childhood development.
Rachel has experience with a range of developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs, including PDA, ODD, DMDD, ASD, ADHD, CP, Down Syndrome, dysgraphia, anxiety, IDD, and sensory processing disorders. She specializes in delivering individualized, client-centered interventions that promote functional independence, emotional regulation, and participation in daily activities. She utilizes evidence-based strategies, sensory integration techniques, and play-based approaches to build rapport, support self-regulation, and address individualized goals. Her approach emphasizes collaboration with families and caregivers to create supportive, consistent environments that help each child reach their full potential.
