Rosemary T MS, CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Rosemary has over 15 years of experience working with children and families. She values her role as one of many stakeholders in a child’s circle and seeks to integrate services as dictated by the client’s needs. A routine-based and natural environment approach allows her to prioritize the strengths, supports, and needs of the client in the provision of skilled therapy services. With a compassionate, evidence-based approach, Rosemary is well-equipped to provide high-quality speech and language services, helping children and families achieve meaningful communication outcomes.
Originally a Florida-native, Rosemary earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Florida and her MS in Speech Language Pathology from Florida State University (always a Gator first!). Additionally, she holds a MEd in Special Education/Deaf Education from the University of North Florida. As a CODA (Child of Deaf Adult), she is a native user of American Sign Language (ASL).
Throughout her career, Rosemary has worked in diverse roles, including as a speech-language pathologist and sign language interpreter across multiple school districts in Florida and North Carolina. Her expertise spans a variety of diagnoses with exceptional student populations, with a particular focus on deaf and hard-of-hearing children and those requiring specialized support. Rosemary values collaborating closely with teachers and families to deliver individualized interventions that foster communication growth and academic success.
Beyond clinical expertise, Rosemary is an active community leader, serving in various roles within local PTAs and volunteer organizations. Her collaborative approach and leadership skills have supported school initiatives, family engagement, and community-based programs, further demonstrating a holistic commitment to child development.
At home, Rosemary and her husband are busy raising four teenagers and navigating the woes of middle school, high school, and college applications. They find fleeting moments of attention for their fur baby, Loki, Dog of Mischief. Rosemary chases bits of calm and clarity while training for her next race. She looks forward to her first full Marathon in 2027.
